Oldham vs Liverpool

Liverpool are off for an FA Cup fourth round trip to Oldham Athletic's Boundary Park where the biggest issue at the moment appears to be all the snow that has piled up on the pitch. Assuming they get things cleared, which they should, the League One side will get a shot to pull off a big upset.

Liverpool should have more than enough strength to deal with this match and they appear to have turned a bit of a corner recently, scoring a ton of goals (17 in their last six league matches) and beating teams they should. It should also help Liverpool's cause that Oldham are struggling at the moment as they sit in 19th position just four points out of the drop zone.

But this is the FA Cup and anything can happen. In addition, Oldham has an owl on their shield and owls are usually pretty awesome. If you'd like a better reason why Oldham could pull the upset, here you go. Liverpool faces Arsenal in three days so Brendan Rodgers could choose to rest some players.

Oldham boss Paul Dickov (remember him from Manchester City?) should have a mostly fit squad available and will get back James Weselowski who finished serving a three-match ban.

Oldham injuries and suspensions

Out: Cristian Montano (thigh), Dean Furman (international duty). In doubt: None.

Liverpool injuries and suspensions

Out: Jose Enrique (hamstring), Pepe Reina (broken nose), Martin Kelly (knee). In Doubt: None.

Cristian Montano continues to struggle with a thigh problem and is out along with captain Deam Furman who is away on international duty with South Africa. Jose Enrique will miss this match as he recovers from a hamstring problem while Pepe Reina underwent surgery for his broken nose recently and no time table for his return has been set.

Match Date/Time: 4:00 p.m. local, 11:00 a.m. ET
