Washington Wizards vs Boston Celtics

Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett could return tonight when the Boston Celtics play host to the Washington Wizards.
Without their top two scorers the Celtics have been a shell of themselves, winning just three of their last 10 including a 97-91 loss against the lowly Cavs on Friday. Jeff Green led the scoring with 23 points and nine rebounds while Shavlik Randolph added 16 points off the bench, but the offense was always a step behind, while the defense had no answer for the Cavs' Tristan Thompson who dominated with 29 points and 17 boards. With Milwaukee winning last night, Boston fall to just two games clear of the eighth seed with just six games to play, but the good news is that they could have both their leading scorers back tonight.
Meanwhile, the Wizards have won 10 of their last 16 and three of their last four and are coming off a massive 104-85 win over the Pacers. John Wall continued his hot form, scoring 37 points on 16 of 25 shooting while Kevin Seraphin had 15 points off the bench on seven of 10 shooting. With the win, Washington improved to 29-47 on the season and 22-17 at home where they've surprisingly won their last nine, which includes wins over the Pacers, Bulls and the Grizzlies. On a side note, Bradley Beal missed his second consecutive game and will be shut down for the rest of the season due to a stress injury in his right fibula.
In ATS trends, the Wizards are 22-10-1 ATS in their last 33 games following a win and 0-4 ATS in their last four road games, while the Celtics are 12-4 ATS in their last 16 home games and 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall.
Head to head, the Celtics narrowly won both meetings this season including the last one by 100-94 in overtime back on Nov 7.
There is no line yet for this game so please check back later for my free pick.
