Lithuania vs Greece

WC Qualification Europe
Kick Off 20:45 UTC time at LFF Stadium,

Lithuania v Greece is a World Cup Qualifier from the European Section, Group G. The homeside is 1-2-2 (4-7) so far, but has played four away games. At home they drew Slovakia 1-1. Greece is in second place on the table three points behind leader Bosnia. So far they're 3-1-1 (6-4). The reverse fixture in Greece ended 2-0.

Lithuania doesn't have any name players. Captain Marius Stankevicius (Defender) is a squad player for Lazio. That's as good as it gets. This side has racked up a few good results though so far. They've drawn home and away to Slovakia and that's not too shabby.

Greece are rightfully favorites. Their defense looks very solid with the likes of Sokratis Papastathopoulos (recently transferred to Dortmund), Giorgos Tzavelas (Monaco), Loukas Vyntras (Levante) and Vasilis Torosidis (fringe player for Roma). Papadopoulos (Schalke) will miss out though.

Their midfield also looks solid with the experienced Karagounis of Fulham and young Tachtsidis of Roma to name a couple. Up front Greece lacks a world beater or two for sure. Overall though this team looks rock solid.
