It's fight night, fans, and we hope you'll join us for our live coverage from inside the Barclays Center, where WBA welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi will defend his title against Adrien Broner (Showtime, 9 p.m. ET).
Malignaggi (32-4, 7 KO) and Broner (26-0, 22 KO) have engaged in a particularly nasty and, at times, vulgar promotional campaign for the fight. Each man is promising to not just beat, but beat up his opponent. Broner is the heavy favorite, but Malignaggi has home-field advantage and never backs down from anyone.
This should be an exciting fight.
Before the main event, the big boys will be in action in a highly anticipated heavyweight rematch between Johnathon Banks and Seth Mitchell. Banks (29-1-1, 19 KO) shocked the world when he stopped Mitchell (25-1-1, 19 KO) in the second round of their bout last November and derailed his rise to the top. Can he prove it wasn't a fluke, or will Mitchell avenge his only defeat?
