Malaysia vs Chelsea

Chelsea won the opening game of their preseason tour of Asia, defeating the Singha All-Star XI by a 1-0 score. Romelu Lukaku scored the lone goal of that game on a penalty, which was won by Brazilian debutante Wallace.

Their second game will kick off in just over 12 hours, and we'll all get our second look at the Blues squad for the 2013/14 season. Here's hoping the Malaysian opponents come out with a bit more attacking approach than their Thai counterparts did, as it would be nice to see some of our defenders doing something beyond recycling possession.

Chelsea Team News: The squad is basically unchanged from the group that played in Thailand, although we may see some different combinations on the pitch*. Josh McEachran was back in full training the past few days, although it's not clear whether or not Jose Mourinho will take a chance on his fitness by playing him in the match. Frank Lampard will almost certainly miss out, as he's not been training without limitation yet.

Malaysia XI Team News: Like the Singha All-Star XI, the Malaysian all-stars will almost certainly line p with eleven players we've never heard of taking the pitch against the Blues. Luckily for those of us that aren't all that familiar with the Malaysian game, the club's website has us covered.
