Manchester City vs Arsenal

Manchester City and Arsenal will face off in the preseason on Saturday.

Manchester City has been relatively quiet this offseason with no major storylines or rumors.

Meanwhile Arsenal has been mired in drama throughout the last few weeks. The club has made a number of attempts to land Luis Suarez, three to be exact, and has been denied by Liverpool. The star player's been vocal with the media about his discontent and even stated that his team had promised to let him go if a 40 million pound offer was made.

However, the club has denied the promise and has repeated that it will not sell its best player to a local rival.

Regardless, Arsenal remains hopeful that a deal can be struck.

"That is the story between Suarez and Liverpool and I don't know what has been said, what has been promised and what has been written, and only Suarez and Liverpool that can decide that. It's nothing to do with us. We have been told that the player wants to leave Liverpool and that's why we've acted," said Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

The club hopes that its performance against Manchester City is an improvement over its display in the Emirates Cup last weekend. During its two matches Arsenal drew with Napoli and lost against Galatasaray at home.

Prediction: Manchester City is expected to make huge strides this season. Look for them to shock Manchester City in a 2-0 win.
