Sydney Roosters vs Canberra Raiders

The Roosters juggernaut rolled through Penrith last week, handing the Panthers a 42 – 6 hiding.
It was the sixth win in a row for the competition front-runners with the last four victories being secured by an average winning margin of 32.5 points.
There’s seems to be no stopping Sydney who continue not only to post plenty of points but also aim up in defence every week.
Only 18 points has been scored against them in the past four matches and it’s this aspect of their game that is laying the foundation of their success.
They host Canberra this week that surprisingly, have been able to get the better of the Roosters the last two times the sides have met by the slender margins of four and two points.
The Raiders will have to prove a significant turnaround in form if they wish to make it three in a row however.
The lost their first game at home this season and did so in spectacular fashion, allowing Melbourne to run in a dozen tries in a 68 – 4 loss.
They’ll be out to right the wrongs of that victory but playing away, where they’ve only been able to secure two from eight wins this year, against the most in-form team in the competition, clearly seems a mountain too high.
