Sydney Swans vs Collingwood FC

The highlight of Saturday’s games will be staged in Sydney with the Swans hosting Collingwood.
Collingwood will venture north full of confidence after handing Essendon a 79 point hiding last week, their fourth win in the past five weeks.
Despite playing well within their capabilities, the Swans continue to register comfortable victories and boast nine wins from their past ten matches.
Collingwood once held a string of eleven straight victories over Sydney however the Swans were able to break that hoodoo when it counted the most, winning in last year’s finals 96 – 70 and again earlier this year, 102 – 55.
Whilst Collingwood sit in sixth spot on the ladder and their involvement in this year’s final series assured, they are equal competition points with Richmond and only one win in front of eighth placed Port.
Collingwood need to keep winning to ensure they do not finish in eighth spot and in all likelihood, meet Hawthorn in the first week of the finals and with their remaining three games against the Hawks, West Coast and North, they’ll need to keep their best form for the last month.
Whilst it is hard to go past Sydney, the 16.5 start on offer about the Pies, who will be on a high after last week’s performance, is attractive.
