Norwich City vs Chelsea

Jose Mourinho’s return to Chelsea has not been as messianic as many would have imagined.

Despite the wealth of attacking flair within the squad the goals have not been flowing as many would have expected and the self-proclaimed happy one has already gotten tetchy over constant media speculation over his team selection.

However, Mourinho and his team got some respite during the week as they brushed aside an uninspiring Steaua Bucharest side 4-0 but questions remain over Chelsea’s best team. This weekend Chelsea travel to Norwich where they will hope to put in a strong performance in the League and make up some ground on the teams above them.

Before last weekend the pressure was beginning to mount on Chris Hughton but after getting their second league win of the season away to Stoke, Norwich gained a little breathing space to the teams in the bottom three.

Although they struggle in front of goal, only managing four goals in six matches so far, Norwich have proven hard to break down and this weekend their defence is going to have to be at its very best to stop Chelsea’s attacking talent.
